Thanks Bob. I have a rough idle problem which I will
begin by checking idle speed and timing, plugs and
points conditions, as well as vacuum readings.
I hope it's not the head. The last oldie I had, a 72
Dart Swinger with a slant six, had a rough idle (drove
nice once you went past idle) turned out to have badly
warped valve openings and the cylinder head had to be
replaced, an expensive proposition and it took months
to figure out, 2 weeks with a MoPar specialist till he
figured out it was the head.
