I thinK I have found my own answer. Check google first "torque converter stall speed"
Leave well enough alone and stay with the PG torque converter to:
A) keep trans temps lower
B) to get the trans to start moving the car as soon as possible when I step on the gas.
This sounds like a win -win situation.
