One last, big deal, item to look at is the top shock mount on the side the 
noise comes from.  The metal will make a sharp squeaking noise  as the rust 
weakened metal flexes.  If it is weak and failing, you can make a fairly quick fix 
with two pieces on steel--one top and one bottom--held together by the shock 
stud and nuts.  Hope that isn't your problem though.
