<VV>Instrument panel lights

Two possibilities come to mind. Either the bulbs are not getting 12v (40 
yar old wiring) or they are the rong bulbs. The '65 manual calls for 3cp 
1816s but I have often found 2cp 1895s in their place and they are dimmer.

Looking at

they do  call out the 1816 for the 64 Corvair instrument panel bulbs.
