i ground mine down yeas ago to make it more useable on corvairs. i ended up
with about 1/4 inch of "kip" area. i also ground a mark on it to tell me where
the terminal is faceing.
with this socket i can usually get a switch out without much hasle. the last
one i did was in a hurry on my lakewood with a genrator yet , and it went
well.
just moved about 1/2 of my car shop to the new house yesterday. what a mess.
yes i did find interesting stuff stashed. i will end up selling a lot of
stuff soon ...running out of space rapidly with my new "downsizing". at least i
now have my huge toolbox handy here. i only got about 15 ft of my 30 ft of
benches and cabinets here yet..now to put things away.
