<VV> Convertible snap position for early convertible

Does anyone have a template or could make one from  a 8 ½ X 11 sheet of
paper  (left and right) to  show placement  of  the two interior top boot
fasteners for an early convertible. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I
have the 4 screws which will need to be cut off to keep them from protruding
on the inside.
