<VV> Fuel System

Another newbie question.... I recently changed out all the rotting rubber vent, tank filler connector, feed & turbo bypass lines on my '65. Before the change-out when I turned off the ignition, I could always hear gas draining back into the tank from the bypass line. Now I cannot hear it.  Question is.... does the car have a pressurized fuel system or a vented one? Would   Thanks in advance.
