WHAT?  Where did you ever get this idea?  Corvairs with A/C do NOT have a 
return fuel line!!

Cars with a/c received a return fuel line to limit pressure build up and to
keep the gas circulating in the system. The factory did not add cost like
that without a reason. That said where I have seen VL in the past was from
a fuel line too close to the block. That should not be an issue with a 
Corvair.
