I don't know why he is now suggesting Camaro rotors. Maybe they are cheaper
or easier to find. The metric, front, 2wd, S10 calipers we used look
different than the picture he now shows of a Celebrity caliper. The S10
caliper has the hose mounting on the edge of the caliper rather than the
back the way it looks in his current picture. The Celebrity caliper would
give you more options of routing the hose. The rotor we used was from the
front of a 4wd S10. The 2wd ones come mounted on the hub.
My friend likes the idea of only having to remember that the parts came from
an S10 rather than a mixture of cars and trucks! I convinced him to keep a
log of what parts were used so he can refer to them in the future.
I have not driven the car but as I wrote before it is a '34 Ford with a
Corvair front end so I don't know if it would be a good comparison to a
Corvair.
Scarebird is a little stingy with his pictures. The ones he shows are
generic and are meant to show examples of how his brackets work.
