Michael,
How do you know it's running "very hot"? When my Corsa 180 was being
driven almost daily, at highway cruising it normally ran 400 deg.F on the stock
(uncalibrated) CHT gauge. Under full throttle up a long hill showing 8 to
10 psi boost it would go to 450 deg.F. But to my mind this was not
excessively hot.
If you don't have a restriction in the cooling air flow through the
engine, then overheating could be due to running too lean (vacuum leaks??) or
running retarded on your ignition timing.
Let us know what you find.

Hi gang. My 140 is running very hot. The carbs are rebuilt. Timing and
points are set. Fuel pressure is correct. Belt is not slipping and both
cooling vents open correctly. When I drive it and pull over or slow down to
let it get cool, it won't. It is running a little rich. ?????? Thanks
Michael
