I love answering this question :-)

For a trip longer than a block from my house, I take along:

  - A cell phone
  - A current CORSA roster
  - A platinum Visa

For conventions I take a spare fan belt and a tire pressure gauge for 
the autocross.  IMHO, if a Corvair is in good repair, don't worry about 
it.  If it isn't, don't drive it.
