Ryan-
Can you trace where the green and brown wires go from the votlage regulator
area? I'm thinking that they go to the engine compartment connector. If you
can trace them to there and figure out which hole they use it will be easy
to figure what they are for.
The license plate light is a brown wire and should go to the engine
compartment hinge where it has a connector to the wire which snakes thru the
hood to the actual light. The wire should break out of the harness near the
regulator.
The green wire may be for the head temp switch which is only used on a
Corsa. Your replacement 110 won't have a place for this wire unless you do a
conversion to use a thermister. My wiring diagram shows that in the area of
the engine compartment connector, but on a separate connector coming into
the engine compartment.
The underhood light is an option and won't show on the wiring diagrams in
the shop manual. It only shows in the option section of the assembly manual.
It wires to the plastic connector on the frame rail near the battery. I've
seen different colors on the underhood light. Logic would say it would be
red as that is what GM used on wires that were hot all the time. Sometimes
they used orange for wires that were fused. I've seen dealer installed ones
with black wires.
