<VV> Hinge pins

My new project car has hinges that definitely need
attention---  How are those pins held in
place?????---I assumed they were just tight fit and I
did malitize them some--but I didn't force the
issue---  should I just get a BFH and malitize them
more aggressively??

Heart of Texas Corvair Roundup will be in Georgetown
on 21,22, and 23 April---cold beer, good BBQ---come on
down!!!!
