I love my 65 with a rear bar. With about a 10 lb pressure differential it is really neutral in all instances. With a 10 lb differential it drives really close to my 66 with no differential or a differential of only a few lbs. You don't want to drive the car with the bar with equal tire pressure on the road. It will keep your attention big time.

Subject: <VV> Sway Bars
Brent just posted info regarding the tire pressure
debate and handling characteristics of the rear engine
car. The desireable rear body lean and un-desirable
front body lean explains why the LM are not equipped
with a rear sway bar and a smallish one in front. I
just checked and ADDCO has rear sway-bars, 3/4 inchers
I think, but nothing for the front. Wouldn't this
heavy bar in the rear and light stocker in froms give
you a twitchy rear end? :-)
Any experience out there or should I check out the
auto-cross forum? I've put sway bars on all my water
pumpers and loved the results and wanted to do the
same on my Corvair but can't locate a heavier front
bar.
Cheers!
