<VV> No Radials in the Sixties

the 60's we didn't have radial tires. 

My new 65 Monza wore out the original junk tires in no time. I
went to "Belle Tire"(on Grand River Ave in Detroit) to purchase
Pirelli Radials. They didn't last too much longer than the
origi-junks. My friend that also had replaced the tires on his
65 Monza, and was trading in his car for a larger(Malibu) car
for his growing family, offered to swap his Michelin Radials for
my worn Pirelli's. What a deal.
