I  replaced a couple late model windshields in the last 6-10 years ago ....
I told them it was a cash deal, non-insurance claim ... the price dropped to
half the original quote ... new windshields ....

I think final price for taking the old one out, new seal stripping  where
needed, and installation came to about $140.. last one was about 6 years
ago, so naturally Y$MV (g).
