Gary,

I actually was aiming at the USED parts at the swap meet situation,
although while attempting to needle Sam about Sears' offer (in an
attempt to make light of it all.) In Ohio, where I'm at, used parts at
swap meets aren't taxable. In fact, I can't recall EVER paying sales tax
for a used or NOS part at a CORSA convention. This is definately a
first, and not a very proud one at that.

As far as NEW parts, food, etc. yes, that is (unfortunately) expected.
But it STILl doesn't mean that I'm going to spend extravagantly. Taxes
tend to cut overall consumption. I expect I'll be even more miserly
because of it, and from what some of my friends are saying, they feel
the same way.
