Indeed it isn't. Someday I'll learn how to work these things. Because a 
post I intended to be private became public (due to my stupidity) I will 
first apologize to Chuck and add this -

If you read my column in the latest Communique you'll find that I asked 
three questions and gave  3 answers.  Bufflao will be a big success if 
YOU want it to be - that's YOU and me. I spoke with the vendor chair on 
Friday and it was his opinion that preregistrations were good. I didn't 
tell him, but the number he gave me was substantially higher than most  
other Nationals 7 weeks out. (Actually 10 times greater than several 
very successful past conventions !).

I realize than tensions can run high with the host club when it comes 
down to the wire. IF (and this IF is only based on Chuck's comments) 
registrations and tour signups are not what the club expects I will 
offer this - 1)The convention is still 7 weeks away. This is not 
unusual.  2)If the end result is not what is expected there may be 
multiple reasons., but I doubt that Sarahs attempts at "dry" humor is 
certainly not one of them.

That's what I get for defending a President.

Let's make Buffalo another first rate National. I got my reservations 
long ago. And for the first time in history I'll be there to get around 
- look at your cars, help you with your problems, listen to your 
suggestions - NOT be tied to a table (at least not 10 hours a day).
