Correct. You're either in the class or you're not. You're allowed up
to 125 points, above that and you go into SM.

There is a lower limit of 140 for tread wear rating, along with some
points based on size. So, if you manage to find a 185/80-13 stickum go
fast tire with a tread wear at or above 140, you're ok. If you get
205/60-13 tires on stock wheels, that'll cost you 20 points. If you
get the same size in an R compound, that's 30 more. 14 inch wheels?
25 more for the wheels. Steering wheel stock? Ignition? Non-stock
seats? All cost points. It doesn't take much to modify the car out of
the class.
