That would be the Japanese snow monkey, one of a troupe that was at 
the Mill Mountain Zoo.   One of them made a break for it, and beat 
feet into the woods.

It's still on the lam.   They closed the zoo so as to keep things 
quiet enough for workers to hear the little hellion squawking because 
it missed breakfast.    So far, it's still leading them on a wild 
goose chase.


The irony of Lonzo's previous comment is that the zoo and the 
marauding monkey are only screaming distance from here.   It's not 
beyond the realms of possibility that the little escapee could end up 
making its way down the side of Mill Mountain and attempting to steal 
one of the 'Vairs to make good its escape.
