I guess I was lucky, neither side of mine broke off. Either way, I had to
try something because it was determined not to break loose with hand tools.
Glad it didn't happen for me.
Would heating it make it any more likely to break loose versus breaking?

I had a similar problem with a rampside I am working on. I hit it with some
PB Blaster but still couldn't break it loose with hand tools. I used my air
gun on it and it broke right loose. Give it a try.
