i am putting an engine together to use in my rampy with powerglide. i have 
one set of 95 heads number 3878569 in real nice condition ready to go. i found a 
set of 3883862  last night while looking for something else. they both say 
66-69 95 hp in the junkyard guide. one says 8.00  compression  , the other says 
8.25.  what gives?  would you run these or a set of 140 heads with 2 carbs on 
a street vehicle for highway driveing  (cruise at @70 etc)
i have a new 9889 cam for it with new crane corvair lifters from the 70's.  i 
have never gone thru so much "research" on these engines before!  and i have 
rebuilt plenty over the years.
any comments on how you would proceed with what i have here? running clarks 
octane cut 030 pistons.
