<VV> Posi-traction clutch pack

Question:  Has anyone come across clutch pack pieces that are not the required/specified thicknesses? In a LM 3.55 two-spider diff.

Tabbed flat disks are spec'd to .095 thickness and the flat geared disks are .060.

Had a lot of problems with the differential in one track car this past year. I found one tabbed disk that was too thin-.068 vs. s/b .095 and one geared disk that was .095 instead of the .060.  This pack failed, with tabs coming off the thin disk.
