Depends what your definition of a mountain is. I live at 7400' and I'm on
the prairie. The view out my window is of a mountain. Pikes Peak which is
over 14,000'. I just scoped out my trip on MapQuest 1,555.69 miles. 23
hrs 58 minutes which in the future, I'll just round off to 24 hours. I'm
on sabbatical this summer and I'm hope to combine the convention with some
genealogy research in Montana, North Dakota, Massachusetts and Quebec along
the way, so I probably will be going north from here and then across the
country just below the Canadian border. It's all down hill from here.
