<VV> Radio Question

Mine went totally dead like that and I was convinced that it was the radio, also a stock AM-FM; however checking it with a spare speaker, which isn't too hard, showed that it was a speaker problem...old and rotten.  While it may be the radio, it's easy to trouble shoot with a spare speaker first.
