<VV> Radio Question

Hi All,

I had a chance to take out the Corvair today and during the drive the  
radio (stock AM/FM) started to lose whatever "base" it had and then  
went really trebly.  After I stopped at the store and then got back  
in the car - there was no sound coming out of the speaker.  Is that a  
blown radio or blown speaker?  I'd probably have some sound coming  
out of a blown speaker, right?
