I have a good 140 HP Pressure plate that I know is in good condition. I want
to replace one that is worn. Do I need to have the flywheel and this

I'd say that it all depends. If you are matching unmolested factory original
parts, then no. But if thre is any doubt, then I'd suggest that you get them
balanced. Of course you know that the flywheel and PP will have the greatest
amount of rotating inertia, so that any imbalance can cause a vibration. So
to be on the safe side, I'd recommend a balance.
