Have a feeling that a few are stopped by the $30,000+ price tag (not 
including the "gas guzzler" tax on the automatic).

The original GTO was a big engine dropped into the lowest priced Pontiac of 
the time. Unfortunately GM doesn't have any low priced cars any more.
