Smitty,
I tried that too, but my bushing was so worn that the bolt just spun happily
inside. I finally had to use Tim Colson's method of cutting it with a
hacksaw.

Smitty says : Nothing wrong with using the tap as I have done the same.
But then I discovered that you can use a 5/8 bolt the same way. the threads
of the bolt will screw into the soft bushing material and twist it right
out. Almost as cheap as a flea market tap.
