You're Welcome!!!    No Flame........BUT!!!!!

With all that technical info at your disposal....nothing told you what needed 
to be connected to work????

All I was ever taught  was that a Alternator [ generator without permanent 
magnets] needs to be excited [ "F" or "I" terminal / controlled by a regulator 
if not internal],  And a lead to the Battery....by what ever means.    

To make it work 100 %  properly, you need a voltage "sensing"  circuit.    
"Telltale  / Idiot" lights are in circuit with the "exciter wire [ ignition], 
unlike PM Gens. that have a contact in the voltage regulator, and need to be 
"isolated" from the ignition switch.

With that info...I've never found a system that didn't work if connected that 
way...
