  I've heard of that, going all the way back to flying machine fixin school. Unobtanium is the alloy used to make the most expensive and irreplaceable component of any machine. It is known to break or wear out when you most need it, least expect it and absolutely must have it. It is famous for its ability to read a clock and calendar, so it normally will go kerflunken at 2 a.m. Sunday morning on the last weekend of the only vacation you get this year, and infamous because there is no known repair.
