Yes, we have rebuilt MANY Corvair engines over the years. The lifter
bore problem raised it's ugly head as early as the 1970's - although we
only ran into it about 1 out of 20 engines. The problem is, the
situation has certainly NOT gotten better as the blockas have gotten
older AND it's a VERY bad problem to discover after you've just spent a
fortune in time and money (same thing) doing a complete rebuild. Lon
