Smitty says:  This is directed to any who rebuild engines frequently.  I don't need to know right now but the handwriting is on the wall in the future for all of us.  What are you doing about worn blocks that won't even come close to meeting specs on cam clearances.  Are you lieing to yourselves and your customers that everything is alright?  Are you simply not taking the measurements and figureing a new cam will fix it all?  Has anyone tried metal spray or chrome buildup to close the gap?  How about other solutions?  The one thing I don't want to hear is that you build a lot of engines, and worn out blocks are not a problem.
