A phaeton is a 4-door roadster, for lack of a better
description.  A 4-door with a folding top, and
removable side curtains (no roll-up windows).  A
convertible, whether 2 or 4-door, has roll-up windows.
BTW, to refer to a modern-day Corvette or Mercedes
2-seater as a "roadster" is a misnomer.
