Grade 8 stainless nuts and bolts are available. I would not use anything
else on suspension pieces no matter what the car was used for.
When I re-did the front suspension on the V8 Vair I replaced the square nuts
with new ones from Clarks and several of the cages were destroyed in the
removal process. Also I coated them with copper based anti seize.
