Well I have worked on several of those (E-type is the reason I was forced 
to add an oil pressure gauge to my Monza and  I wish anyone luck trying to 
fix a Ferguson Four Wheel Drive). Had a '67 Camaro with SBC and had to add 
both traction bars and a rear sway bar to get the axle tramp under control, 
I shudder to think what a 396 would be like - monoplate rear spring was not 
a great idea.
