Hod it, I hate to contradict anybody, or throw a wet
blanket on a party, but I am looking at both the
original, and 2 exact repro Boyne switches, in the
physical being(in my hands right now)
First thing is, that if there is a repair kit for this
Boyne switch, it would still have to be removed from
the column to do so.
You see, the construction on these switches is like
rivets of such... Or to be more exact, a swivel-like,
center, flanged, hollowed out, set rivet, and the
contacts are also riveted on.
So, now with that said, I am at a crossroads of
figuring out exactly how you did that replacement????
I, for one, have come up with some really interesting
ways of fixing things, but Looking at these switches,
and I mean closely, there must somehow be a totally
different column in your car, cause I cannot see how
even removing it from the car, and disassembling it,
could even help. Seriously, in my opinion, it would
literally destroy these switches to attempt this
repair... But, I will be the first to admit if there
is something I am not seeing...
Of course, there are people with a lot better skills
than I will ever have, so there is a possibility I am
wrong.

Bill, is this the Van's Salvage you're talking about:
Van's Salvage

If so, I can't seem to find an online catalog or
anything for them. How
did
you know to get this part from them? Do you have any
pictures or
literature
that came with it? As Danny says, it's a major coup to
find this
replacement
part.

Nonetheless, High Kudos on tracking down that part, as
that is a lot
easier
than a complete switch changeout, especially if all
you have is broken
plastic ears.
