<VV> Gerald Ford and Corvairs

Not sure about Gerald Ford, but heard at one time that Elvis Presley bought one for his wife.  Would be interesting to know the whereabouts of these cars if it is true about them.

If memory serves me correctly, the last time Corsa was preparing for a 
convention in Michigan, there was a rumor that Gerald Ford owned, or at one time 
owned, a Corvair.  Was this ever verified?
