I learned from a mechanic when I was a young buck to always without fail
change the rear seal anytime the trans is out. Now with this stated, common
sense should prevail. If you changed it last week or last month I wouldn't
do it again. The part is cheap. Whenever the drive train is out always do
the maint common to any vehicle.
