<VV> gas tank placement and a WARNING

The cost was roughly the same as Clark's, 175.00 with sending unit. To a 17
yr old, my son, it was way cooler to have a fuel cell. I cut a hole into the
back wall of the trunk and boxed out into the old gas tank area. Now the 17
gal tank sits 65/45 over the front axle. Safety wise a foam filled plastic
cell is better than a metal tank especially enclosed inside of the trunk
space. Initially I did try to get one that would fit into the original tank
space. As per beer, we don't drink so there's no need for a keg repository,
though my son has requested a coke or slushy dispenser.

Now for the WARNING. The grease and crap buildup on the engine and tins was
sooo bad that I had to upgrade from Purple Power cleaner to Zep industrial
concentrate. I did dilute it about 400% but still got chemical burns on my
bare hands. I knew to wear gloves anyway but "got in a hurry to finish" and
paid the price. I knew something was up when the glue holding the parts
brush together disintegrated. At this point I am just keeping aloe on my
hands and waiting for the skin to peal off like a bad sunburn.

To the young bucks out there, never ever skip a safety step. It will always
bite you when you don't expect it or worse get you or someone else killed.
