Don Batten had the same problem when his hemophilia caused/required the
fusing of his knees. It was a big disappointment to him at first, but he bought a
'66 AC Monza 4dr sedan from me that he and I converted to an F41 suspension
with quick arms and he had a great time at autocrosses etc. I still remember
the announcer at one autocross......"Don Batten is up next. He's driving a '66
Corvair Monza.. (pause).....4 door......(pause)
air..(pause)...conditioned.............(pause)........................Automatic.................." Don's
not with us anymore, but he was a great guy and always competitive.
