To do a complete job, you'll need a '64 differential and rear A-arms, as
well as the rear coil springs and cross-leaf spring and it's links and
bushings. The '62 A-arms can easily be modified, but I would just swap in a
whole '64 rear crossmember with backing plates and drums too. Buy a '64
parts car with the same kind of tranny as your car and you're in business.

Subject: <VV> EM rear end swap
Can anyone lead me to any articles with a good discussion of what is
involved in putting a 64 or later rear suspension in a 62 Spyder? I have
read ads for cars with such, but I have no idea what is involved. I will be
dropping my drive train soon to rebuild/clean up and figured I would redo
the suspension at the same time. Any reason not to "upgrade" to the later
suspension?
Thanks,
