Yes, Clark's has been selling Koni Shocks for some
time now. Koni's are grand for racing, but if you want
a smoother riding shock, and still remain in the HD
grade of shock, try the KYB Kayabbas, that Clark's
also sells. They are really sweet, and I have a set on
my rear 67 Vair. A little cheaper than Koni, but in my
opinion I like them better.
The only thing with the KYB's is you do have to drill
the bottom mounting hole, one size up, but that was a
breeze. This is because the bottom hole in the shocks
are slightly bigger, and so is the bolt to accomodate
it.
No regrets, these are the sweetest shocks I have ever
had the pleasure of riding on.
A while back Clark's used to have Carrera Shock's but
discontinued them and replaced them with the KYB's. I
never rode on a set of Carrera's, but they were priced
right up there with the Koni's, so I was most pleased
with the price and ride of the KYB's, most pleased
indeed.

Isn't Koni making shocks for the Corvair today? Lee
Grimes, former
Corvair
racer and Koni North American Koni sales manager was
at the Performance
workshop. He said that Clark's is selling them.
