By  the way, if you fear rust issues in the std jack points under the 
car,  just keep a chunk of 1.5" thick oak shelf board, about a foot 
square, on  hand.   Put it between the jack and the bottom of the car 
in the  general vicinity of the jack points...  no problems.


Another example of the over engineering that made the '60 such a great  car!  
I use a piece of wood at the jacking points too--keeps the jacking  points 
from getting damaged--and the indentations that form in the wood blocks  help 
keep things locked in place.
