First off, in 1965, Chevy wanted $300 (or was it $150?) more for a
Monza. The salesman never explained that in addition, we'd get two
horns, backup lights and engine insulation. Neither did the surly
salesman '68.
Besides, we wanted 500 because of the bench seat. Three of us could
sit up front. And visibility was so much better than sedans. I still
like visitblity, even tho I now drive a sedan and a 'vert. -ron 65,66
