Actually, I did use it for that once.  But, not out on the road.  Also, the 
bend at the 1/2 inch end helps it fit inside the glove box.  <GRIN>

I've not seen the Clark's one.  Look the same as the picture?  Just need a 
"blue" wrench to turn a normal wrench into the "special"  Corvair wrench.

I've got the Clark's wrench with the 9/16th and the 1/2" on the other end. 
I agree with Ken, the 1/2" end works great getting at the lower nuts on the 
carbs.
