Timing vs A/F  ratios......too small for us to even worry about.

Timing vs  Fuel Mileage......we can deal with that...

The "Super Duper"  device you purchased was just an Air Gap  
mechanism.....just like you pull the plugwire off a plug and hold it 1/2" away to clear a fuel 
fouled plug.....

It didn't burnout......your  mental state just returned to normal....gggggg
