More often than not, it is a spilt in the cable housing. But it can be
either or both. A close inspection of the cable near the tranny should
reveal the answer. To help analyze, you could try.... Spray the entire area
down with brake clean and park the car. After the torque converter bleeds
down and fills the tranny to the top, you should be able to tell where the
leak is. Air flow will have absolutely NOTHING to do with it.
