did this fc have carpet installed? check the plastic housing at the pedal linkage. if it was not set right to metal by cutting the carpet you may have a problem right there. i have seen this more than once on the 64 65 setup. you need to cut the carpet around the housing and remove the part under the edges. regards, tim colson
