<VV> beware the mud dauber

After making an A/C compressor replacement on the Riv, I charged the system with dry shop air to check for leaks, but the gauge read zero. How could this be; everything's hooked up right. I take couplings apart, and the adapter I made up to interface the shop air hose and the gauge set, was packed full of mud. Inside was a wasp larvae.
This is the time of the year they seek out small orifices to build their mud dens, so watch those brake and fuel lines, A/C gauges, vacuum hoses; anything with a 1/16-1/4" hole, that are not locked up.
